Good News, Everyone! I’ve Got a New Site

Back in November, I posted briefly about the future of this site and where I saw things going. I felt like I’d said most of what I had to say about trumpet lip injuries, and I was becoming more interested in writing about broader topics like personal development and productivity. At the same time, I felt like The Lip Rip Blues served a valuable purpose to the brass community, and I didn’t want to dilute it with other kinds of content.

In With the New

I wasn’t sure what the plan would be, but I decided to start a new site a couple of months ago, and I’m thrilled with the response and how it’s helped me rekindle my writing habit. Check out jonathanvieker.com! Lipripblues.com is definitely here to stay, but it’ll mainly be a repository for information on lip injuries. I may update it occasionally (and who knows what the future will bring!), but most of my writing will be posted on jonathanvieker.com. If you’d like to keep reading (and I hope you will), head on over to jonathanvieker.com and have a look around. If you liked The Lip Rip Blues, you’ll like jonathanvieker.com a whole lot. I can’t thank you all enough for reading and supporting me as I put this site together and gradually figured out what I was doing, but I’ll try:

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My own trumpet playing has largely recovered after five arduous, difficult years filled with injury, surgery and setbacks, and it’s due in no small part to the support I’ve received from you. The party continues at jonathanvieker.com, and I hope to see you there!
